Director

Kelly’s work spans the research and strategy teams to serve innovative education organizations through policy analysis, advocacy, and government affairs.

Prior to joining Whiteboard Advisors, Kelly worked as a lead teacher at KIPP DC: Heights Academy. She continues to put students at the center of her work by supporting and advancing high-quality educational experiences across the W/A portfolio. Kelly also has experience as a researcher and analyst, supporting efforts to improve practice and outcomes for organizations including The Primary School, Straighterline, District of Columbia Public Schools, and Children’s Defense Fund Freedom Schools.

Kelly is a graduate of Stanford University, where she received her M.A. in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership Studies, and Duke University, where she received her B.A. in Public Policy Studies, with a concentration in Child and Family Policy and a minor in Education. Kelly lives in Washington, DC with her fiancee, Carson, and her cat, Moo.
