Annika Turnquist


Annika is an Associate at Whiteboard Advisors supporting policy and advocacy ranging from early childhood education to higher education and workforce, as well as supporting the Colorado state strategy team. Prior to joining Whiteboard full-time, Annika was a Research and Policy fellow with the Whiteboard Colorado team.

Annika also has experience working for a Denver-based lobbying firm doing on-the-ground work in the Colorado General Assembly across a range of areas including education, healthcare, and budget policy. Her passion for education spurs from her research on supporting at-risk students in their journey to graduating high school, which included a Capstone Policy Memorandum on programs to support these students in the state of Colorado.

Annika graduated from the University of Denver after completing a dual-degree program receiving both her Bachelor of Arts in Socio-Legal Studies and Public Policy as well as her Masters in Public Policy with a specialization in social policy. Annika currently resides in Denver, Colorado and loves exploring all aspects of living in the Rocky Mountain region.
