Natalia Battaglia leads strategic communications for mission-driven organizations at the intersection of education and emerging technology. A trusted advisor to changemakers, Natalia brings two decades of experience helping brands craft narratives, elevate thought leadership, and shape public opinion.

Before rejoining Whiteboard, Natalia served as Head of Communications and Public Affairs at Common Sense Media, where she brought policy and research narratives to national prominence. She has also held senior communications roles at General Assembly, Handshake, and the Wikimedia Foundation, helping position them as category leaders through high-impact media, social campaigns, crisis response, and data-driven storytelling.

Earlier in her career, Natalia led corporate reputation and PR campaigns at Whiteboard Advisors, Grayling, and Atomic for clients like LinkedIn, PayPal, and Guild Education. Known for her intuition, creativity, and humor, she thrives in fast-moving environments that demand both strategic guidance and sharp, on-the-ground execution.

A proud Latina and mother of two, Natalia holds a B.A. in Communications and Managerial Studies from Vanderbilt University. She is a member of Mixing Board, a community of luminary communications and marketing leaders, and an advocate for Type 1 diabetes.
