Madeline Buitendorp

Senior Associate

Madeline Buitendorp is a senior associate supporting strategic communications for a range of organizations across the higher education and workforce development landscape. Before joining the Whiteboard Advisors team, Madeline worked as a strategy associate at the world’s first comprehensive stakeholder solutions firm. Madeline previously interned at Rock the Vote, Public Democracy, and in the Office of Michigan State Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks.

Madeline graduated from Davidson College with a B.A. in Political Science with a focus on public policy, and a minor in Education Studies. While at Davidson, Madeline co-founded the College Crisis Initiative (C2i), a data-driven research group that investigates how education institutions innovate during crisis. She served as the Director of Communications, running a communications strategy that supported both C2i staff and research affiliates.

Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Madeline currently resides in Washington, D.C.
