With a background that spans economics and edtech, Ivy brings a data-driven approach to a strategy consulting and communications portfolio that includes W/A clients Opportunity@Work, General Assembly, and startup community college Campus.edu. She’s passionate about the potential for skills-first talent practices to build more inclusive and productive teams; and her research and writing touches the implications of AI on the workplace, the rise of apprenticeships and alternative pathways to quality careers.

Ivy comes to Whiteboard from the University of Virginia’s edtech accelerator and nonprofit, The EdTech Evidence Exchange. She previously worked at the Washington, D.C. office of The Posse Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring and providing tuition support to young scholars.

Ivy holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from The University of Chicago. She currently lives in DC with her partner and her cat, Peppa (named after Peppa the Pig). She enjoys going to local pastry shops, watching documentaries, and F1 racing.
