This week, President Obama signed the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), into law–marking the first reauthoirziation of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act in nearly 15 years. Earlier in the week, the Senate passed the bill 85-12, and the House passed the bill 359 to 64 the previous week.
