Merone Kahassai

Director of Advocacy Operations

As Director of Advocacy Operations, Merone works closely with Co-Founder and Chief Advocacy Officer Anna Edwards to support with administrative and operations needs. Prior to W/A, Merone worked as a scheduler in the federal government. She supported the CEO at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) as well as Congresswomen Rosa DeLauro and Brenda Lawrence.

She graduated from the College of William and Mary with a major in Government and a minor in Sociology. Merone lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her dog, Bijou.
