Helena supports strategic communications across the K-12 education and philanthropic sectors. Her portfolio covers a range of issues, with a strong emphasis on the intersection of computer science and artificial intelligence in the classroom. A former Whiteboard Advisors fellow, she is passionate about special education, early childhood education and expanding equitable learning opportunities for all students, particularly students with disabilities and those from underserved communities.

Helena recently graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in Educational Studies and Psychological & Brain Sciences. Her background in both education and psychology has shaped her interest in understanding how students learn, develop and experience education, as well as how those insights can inform more equitable learning environments.

Originally from New York City and now based in Washington, D.C., Helena is an East Coaster at heart, but in her free time, she loves escaping to the mountains of Idaho and Utah to hike, ski, and spend time outdoors.
