Marcus Veazey

Marcus Veazey has over 20 years’ experience in public affairs, which began after a year on the staff of U.S. Senator Paul Coverdell of Georgia in Washington, DC. After leaving the Hill, Marcus helped to establish one of the first multistate advocacy firms, with a particular focus on the southeastern states.  At Whiteboard Advisors, Marcus specializes in complex health and education policy matters, including the implementation of federal Medicaid and Medicare policy at the state and local level, and intersection of education and the workforce.

Marcus is actively involved in Republican politics at both the national and state level, having served as a member of the National Finance Committee for the Republican Governors Association and helping to launch Republican Mayors and Locally Elected Officials (RMLO).

Marcus holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. He and his wife Emily live in Corpus Christi, TX, with their three daughters.
